Designed and handcrafted in North Carolina, the Stanton combines traditional English greenhouse architecture with durable modern materials—creating a garden structure designed to be used, loved, and admired for years.
The Stanton Greenhouse is named in honor of renowned orchid grower John Stanton, founder of Orchid Trail Greenhouses.

John’s lifelong dedication to cultivating and restoring rare orchids - and the greenhouse he entrusted us to build for his own collection - helped inspire a design rooted in the tradition of serious growing.
The result is a greenhouse that feels as much like a permanent part of the garden as it does a place to grow.

Porch-style entry, tall roofline, inset glazing, traditional windows and optional handmade ridge cresting and brick knee wall foundations give the Stanton the proportions and character of historic garden structures.

Each Stanton is individually constructed using traditional wood framing techniques—not assembled from a prefabricated greenhouse kit.

With 6' sidewalls and a peak reaching approximately 12', the Stanton offers exceptional vertical growing and space for hanging baskets, climbing plants, tall specimens, shelving, and more.

Every Stanton is pre-built in shop and assembled on-site within your garden or landscape, allowing you to choose the location where it feels most at home. Nestle it among established gardens, make it the centerpiece of a new landscape, or position it as a natural extension of your home.

The Stanton is built with traditional 2×4 wood framing over a pressure-treated base, creating a strong, substantial structure designed for permanent outdoor use.
For added stability, upgrade to Prime #1 Kiln-Dried After Treatment (KDAT) lumber. The drying process reduces excess moisture after treatment, helping minimize shrinking, twisting, and warping while providing excellent resistance to rot and decay
Our 6mm twin-wall polycarbonate roof provides insulation while diffusing sunlight throughout the growing space. It's lightweight, impact-resistant, and far less vulnerable to breakage than traditional glass.
For the beauty and visibility of glass without its fragility, we offer clear, UV-protected polycarbonate sidewalls. The result is a bright, glass-like appearance with excellent impact and shatter resistance—ideal for showcasing both the greenhouse and the garden within.
LP SmartSide siding provides a durable, low-maintenance knee wall sheathing with the traditional appearance of wood siding.
Stanton Greenhouses are finished with premium Sherwin-Williams exterior paint or stain for lasting protection and a polished architectural finish. Choose from their signature colors or select a custom color to complement your home and landscape.
